About the Artist
Joy Skinner is a self-taught artist whose talent emerged at a time when her children were grown and moving on with their own lives. Her hobby very quickly became a passion.
“Florida affords me endless opportunity for creativity and inner satisfaction and I hope that my paintings will evoke emotions that you, as a viewer, can share.” Joy is a member of the Arizona Watercolor Society, Florida Watercolor Society and the Canadian Watercolor Federation. She teaches acrylic or watercolor classes, workshops in Europe and North America and has won many prestigious awards. Her work is found in numerous galleries, public and private collections.
